Wine Directories

Post by Rifferation »

Wine C: drive directories? I went everywhere but the right place it seems like. All I need to do is locate my Main Reaper file so I can copy the LAME MP3 ENCODER.dll into it and also the themes I worked on a while back. I tried program files, windows files, went to file system looked through usr, wine, root I just cannot locate it. If anyone could help I'd appreciate it, thanks.

Navigate to your home folder with Nautilus which would be like /home/USERNAME

Replace USERNAME with your username

Hit CTRL+H

Now you should be able to see the hidden files, look for .wine

That's where your windows file structure is for wine.

well no luck under .wine, I did find a reaper file under the .config file, however there is a Reaper .ini which reads

[REAPER]

audioasync=3

trackupdmode=2

vstpath=Z:\usr\lib\vstwin32;C:\windows\profiles\killingmachine\My Documents\.vst;C:\windows\profiles\killingmachine\My Documents\.config\reaper\vst

and a folder for my VST plug ins, I tried puting it there but no luck, I'll try Cockos as well and post the answer here in the event they locate it first, I appreciate it, sorry to bother.
