Have you got any hard data or facts to back up that assertion? The tracking mechanisms in Chrome are upfront and can in fact be easily disabled by the user. Whereas SpyWare is hidden from the user and often cannot easily be disabled.
Spyware may have been a bit over the top. But to say that there are no privacy concerns and tracking info concerns would be a joke. The info is everywhere, including Google iirc and Chrome forums. If it's not Spyware, it's a privacy/security problem at least. Far more-so than even IE.
A
good example of a browser based on Chrome (the Chromium sourcecode), look no further than
SRWare Iron. Not sure of the Linux compatibility, but this browser on Windows is even faster than Google Chrome, minus the privacy and security concerns.
