Is my /home encrypted? How do I find the key?
During install I choose to encrypted the home partition. When I did that in ubuntu after it started up it had me run a command to find a key or something. Mint did not. How can I tell if /home is encrypted? What was that command to find that key or what ever it is called? Thanks

I'm sorry but I have only just found this post
Is this a problem still? I hope not

Can you provide more details so we can look into this - it does not look good but we need to know more

According to what I have found you get a 32 digit passphrase on install, but use your normal password as long as the system works - the 32 bit passphrase is stored "behind" your password
You should take note of the passphrase
More details here
I write this off as a bug
