Bug concerning Keyring

Post by mikpap »

Every time that the system boots the keyring window appears in order to give the password (I have activate the keyring feature). The bug that really bothers me though has to do with the time given to write my password. It gives me just a few seconds only. After that the keyring application is minimized and it maximizes only if I click mouse's left key and I select "on top" button. This is happening everytime. I find it really disturbing. I would like the application to be maximized up until I write down the password.

Thanks for the quick answer. I have enabled auto login (and I intend to keep it that way). So I have to digg a little more to find a solution.

You'll probably always have to write the password for the keyring if you have autologin as explained in the link I gave you. So you either keep autologin and write the password in the keyring or you skip autologin and (after setting the keyring and user account password to the same) you write your password at the regular login window. You will have to write it at least once...
But your question was really what to do about the odd behavior of the "keyring window", I noted that first now when I reread your post.
I'm sorry but I don't have a clue.....
