VMWare Server will not install

Post by gman »

I tried installing VMWare Server 1.0.3 and receive the following error:

Any thoughts on this? I know that I have no problem building on PCLinuxOS. Could it be the kernel? Should I try with .15-generic?

I take it you have done this step first, as they are needed.

sudo aptitude install linux-headers-`uname -r` build-essential xinetd.

Or alternatively let Automatix2 install it for you.
