PCMCIA Device is gone

Post by awcreamsoda »

Help!!
While booting the system yesterday I lost my my wireless network pc card. Mint sees it in the slot becayse it is in the hardware manager but it no longer works and is not seen in the network applet. The adapter works just fine in Windows when I swap out the HD but not in Mint. I have an IBM R40, pM 1.3ghz, 1.5Gb ram. It has been just fine for about 3 weeks and all of a sudden nothing. I think it is probably an easy fix, something was inadvertently disabled by mistake, but what??
Thanks
