Hello all, first post here.
I'm pretty new to Linux, my computer tech. teacher recommended it because of the relatively smaller community then windows so I decided to give Linux another try. Anyways, right now I have no mintmenu!! I went away for a while and my screen went into power saving mode and when I got back the menu was gone and all i could use was terminal to start up Firefox. If anyone has any ideas that would be great!

Re: mintmenu Crashing?
Hi!
Got a similar problem. Restarting the X server ( <ctrl>+<alt>+<backspace> ) brought back my menu. Hope it helps.
By the way this post solves the same problem.
