I am a Linux newbie but must say love love love the whole Linux community.
My issue is this, I load mint 8 everything is good. Software loads and is working fine. I started to put some games on my PC like neverball, it installs but doesn't run. I am pretty sure that it is my graphics card. I loaded the driver that mint 8 offers but still no luck. I'm wondering if my graphics card needs upgrading??
Any help would be great.
I am running
OS Mint 8 (Helena)
Processor AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual 2.20 GHZ with 2 GB of Ram
Graphics card NVIDIA Ge Force 6150 LE
PS I would like to learn how to fix this problem so if someone has the answer I would like to learn how you got the answer.where to look etc.
Thanks advance

Okay, open a terminal, type compiz-check (enter), this will tell you if 3D rendering is working properly.
inxi -G from the same terminal will show your graphics hardware, and which drivers that are loaded.
If you have any questions, please copy/paste the output of those commands back here.
