Support for USB to VGA device
I'm think of buying a USB to VGA device as the VGA output port on my laptop doesn't work so I can't use an external monitor or other such device. The item I'm thinking of purchasing needs drivers to make it work in XP & comes with such as disk. Does anyone know if it'll work with Helena (Mint 8 )?

Re: Support for USB to VGA device
Thanks DrHu, I already have a KVM switch but the issue is the VGA out connection on the laptop doesn't work so the KVM makes no difference. I bought the device & of course it works with XP but naturally when I re-boot to LinuxMint I get nothing on the external monitor.
The device is a StarTech USB2VGAE2, if anyone has any suggestions......
