Mint 3 Cassandra is based on Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy and compatible with Ubuntu 7.04 Fiesty repos. I think.

First of all, we're volunteers here and your sentence above might be interpreted as being insulting. Nobody here owes you anything, and it's nobody's duty here to be "fast enough" to "save your life".athiwatc wrote: U to slow to safe me live
Huh what!? It would help if you wrote in a proper language we all could understand!athiwatc wrote: i but tnk new install of mint Done
Your lack of style and grammar already forced me to remove one thread you started ... it was simply below any standard and I thus regarded it as being not acceptable for the "How To / Tips & Tricks" section.
I am only pointing you to the release notes for Cassandra and they state Bianca as the base, which is Ubuntu 6.10 "Edgy"speaker219 wrote:Linux Mint 3.0 Cassandra is based on Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty)
Run the following command in terminal and it will tell you:Code: Select all
lsb_release -a
The release notes maybe incorrect!

AS for the question of language this forum uses standard english without things like u for you and so forth - a considerable part of the members are non native english speakers including all moderators but our understanding of english must be considered very good. A few posts above
Scorp123 found it before me and he is a bit more blunt than I am, but I would be on the verge to simply delete such nonsense

eer I think you broke the lines wrong:
U to slow to safe me live i but tnk -> too slow to save my life but thanks
new install of mint Done -> probably reinstalled the system

I don't expect everyone to be a "Shakespeare" ... but come on, it's getting extremely ridiculous when someone's sentences written in some slang can be interpreted one way or the other and the language is so much twisted around in bizarre ways that you'd need a translator ...kainnvin wrote:eer I think you broke the lines wrong
