I have a problem and have searched on this forum and outside for help. I have done the checksum and tried two Cds both burned on different PCs but I still get the same problem. I would appreciate advice.
I am trying to install Helena (main) on my desktop. I have Nvidia graphics and I cannot get further than an 'out of resolution' message so am trying to boot in compatibility mode. I get through loads of text to what looks like the terminal prompt, I can see the cow and the fortune cookie but the text flashes alarmingly and I am unable to input any commands, always assuming that I knew what to do from there!
Should the compatibility mode boot go through to the gui?
Is this another Nvidia problem? I had problems in the past with installing Daryna and Elyyssa but Gloria installed without problems on this system.
Any ideas what I can do to resolve this would be very welcome.
