Is there a package (.deb) list available, so that i can check if my system has all the packages needed?
Or is there another way to verify my system? (for broken or missing)
Thanks!

Re: package list Helena
zarknl,
Open Synaptic Package Manager System>Administration>Synaptic Package Manager
There is a line of text at the bottom of the window which tells you if anything is broken.
If it is click on the Edit option and choose Fix Broken Package.

Re: package list Helena
Anything missing? Like what?
Re: package list Helena
I don't know what is missing, that's why i want to verify my installation
The missing maybe caused by upgrading or maybe by doing something stupid
So, is there a way to verify, if i have have still all the packages, required to have a fully functioning system, for example compared to a clean install?
You might look at this question as a general one, not because there is a specific complaint

Re: package list Helena [SOLVED]
from a good system:
dpkg --get-selections > selections.txt
that creates a list of installed packages
dpkg --get-selections > selections.txt
that creates a list of installed packages
