Working with BCM4318
Little frustrated. My ACER laptop connects just fine using LM8 Gnome. Yet with KDE4 it won't even initialize the device. Aren't these using the same kernel?

Disregard. After installing b43-fwcutter all is well. Still frustrated why the Gnome version works out of the box while the KDE4 requires extra hoops to be jumped through.
