Reposition LUA rings on Conky

Post by dudesplace »

I have Conky working with LUA rings.
Everything works fine I just need to move the entire set of rings (4 sets) down the page about 60 pixels, to match the placement of text.
Is the position of the lua rings on the page determined by the Conky script or the lua script?

Re: Reposition LUA rings on Conky

Post by Koentje »

In the LUA script, these two values determins the upper left pixel starting point.

x=70, y=130,

x = horizontal movement
y = vertical movement

So y has to become 190

Oh I see, bu that only moved the outer ring of the first cpu.
So will I have to adjust every gauges x-y?
There is not a way just to move the whole set all 4 down?

Not in the way this script is setup. All the gauges have their own values. So yes, you have to add 60 to all y strings.

Mighty fine, it's cold and rainy out,, no better time to play.
I've messed with Conky quit a bit but first attempt with Lua and Cairo.
Just didn't want to blow it up to bad.
Might even be better as I've added some items and may make lining up more precise.
Thanks so much for your knowledge
