Greetings,
In linux Mint, there is a desktop background called "Sky". I would like to get rid of the plane in the photo. How do i do this? The picture in the background folder cannot be copied to work on it.

hit PrtScrn and save that as a .jpg
then used an image editor to remove the airplane,
then place that new image in "Pictures",
now you can select that file as the background.
that is what I do, because I want Flat Black, I hate images on my desktop.
