Images ok, but it is not clear what exactly you mean by your question.
Those "indicators" are applets that can be enabled in the panel(s). What are you trying to achieve?
Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon household.

Re: How to show indicator using CLI?
I want to be able to make them appear using the CLI. Basically, I type something in the command line and they show up as if I pressed the buttons for them.tonywhelan wrote: ⤴Thu Mar 21, 2024 5:10 pmImages ok, but it is not clear what exactly you mean by your question.

except instead of the command "notify-send" (which just sends a notification), I want to make it appear like the pictures above.
I hope I'm clear enough this time
Re: How to show indicator using CLI?

I'm using custom shortcuts to be able to have smaller volume steps but now I no more have the OSD

Re: How to show indicator using CLI?
I wanted the same on my laptop and made my own OSD for volume and brightness with conky.
You need to have conky installed with lua support. (conky-all)

Re: How to show indicator using CLI?
Conky can work from the CLI to show whatever you tell it to and you can have multiple .conkyrc files and choose which one you want from the CLI.
Otherwise because you want to show applet indicator images you could try one of the tray applications below:
https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/trayer
https://github.com/kolbusa/stalonetray
I have tried stalonetray and it should work for what you are trying to do.
