There is a new Cinnamon extension available that some of you might find interesting.
Adjacent Windows adds hotkeys, so you can easily focus on the window to the left, right, above or below the currently focused window: https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/e ... ns/view/99
It's a bit similar to how tiling window managers work.
