Flash video in Firefox running on Fluxbox

I now have a standalone version of Fluxbox CE as well as Fluxbox window manager running over a Gnome install and I just noticed the following behaviour when playing Flash video. The video on this page (Bahrain Grand Prix):http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport works perfectly as does the one on this page(UK weather forecast): http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/10209 but the ones on this page (carbon nanotubes):http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8556656.stm and this page (Saturn's Rings):http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/8564405.stm don't work at all. As you will probably notice they are all from the same website. If I swap over to the Gnome desktop (remember I have Fluxbox running on top of Gnome) all four work. If I right click on the videos and select 'About Adobe Flash' it tells me that I have the latest version installed and that it is working correctly.

Anyone know why this is?

I have flash working on some sites but not on others. I have tried every fix you could imagine with mixed results. I have no idea why flash acts up... I can get flash working on sites like those but it is not consistent.

If you're running 64-bit, check out this thread for an explanation of how to somewhat fix the flash player.

Thanks for the replies. It is not just me then!
I am running it on 32 bit so that is not the cause.
