mintUpdate Packages Fail

When I run either Synaptic or mintUpdate LinuxMint repos and some MidiBuntu fail to connect

Still issues after RELOAD

In Software Sources, try changing the Download from server to one nearer to where you are or run the find best server.

dunno what that Translation ENGlish US is, never seen that before

when I try to change the server i get this

I have two different computers and they both fail on the some repo lists

I wish someone can do a sneak peak when they update mintupdate and see if theur LinuxMint repos fail too

Meh, I personally just ignore those messages. Seems like mintUpdate times out the connection if it doesn't respond in time, and tries to establish another connection, so in the end, you'll still get all the updates you need.

As Vincent says, these are perfectly normal messages. Unless you get an error dialog at the end of the update saying unable to install some updates or similar you can ignore them.

I just wrote a post on this the other day and was told it was possibly my internet connection too and I have triple-checked that and it is working fine, but now that I know I can ignore it I am alot happier about that
