That is a good case. My step-dad has the exact same case and he seems real happy with it. I have the same burner, it's quiet and fast. Looks like you are off to a real good start on your new pc. :D

Which PS did you get? The antec one or the OCZ one?
You might need
to get a 12v extension cable, maybe not depending on the mb.

I don't think I can word it better.

As of next Wednesday I'll be completely shutting off donations for this particular purpose, closing the Paypal account, and sending Merlwiz a cashier's check for the total amount of the donations received via Paypal and by Mail.

I would very much like to thank everyone who donated to this cause. Anyone wishing to further support this should make their donations directly to Linux Mint. Again thanks.

For the CPU, have you considered an Athlon II X4? Not sure about the pricing over there, but they're about the same as the Phenom II X2s where i am. Should blow it away in everything bar gaming, where they're about on par.

My wife just had surgery so the update was delayed.
I added more pics here http://www.flickr.com/photos/31132934@N ... 758136706/
This pc is so quiet compared to my old one it's unbelievable.
The old one sounds like a tornado compared to the new one.

Thanks to all those who donated.

Glad you have it finished. I noticed that 5.9 rating in Windows 7. That's as good as it gets. Congrats on building a superior machine.

7.9 may be tops, but your talking to someone who has never had a system that scored higher than 3.9, so 5.9 looks pretty good.
