I lost the beautiful "OOo for Linux Mint" after Ubuntu update to 2.2.0.4
Is it a way to install it new?
Thanks in advance

Just replace the openintro_ubuntu.bmp with the one he posted off the above link.

You can recover the custom splash screens simply by booting the live CD again.
The Gimp splash is located at:
/usr/share/gimp/2.0/images/gimp-splash.png
and the Open Office splash & about screens are:
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/openintro_ubuntu.bmp
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/openabout_ubuntu.bmp
You can either mount your /usr partition from the live CD and sudo cp the files from those locations on the CD to the corresponding locations on your hard disk, or just copy the files to a flash drive and reboot into your installed Mint, then copy the files.
Aloha, Tim
