I'm not a big artist. But what do you think about my idea of a notebook-sticker?
your idea is nice :) i think you should add a border thought

Umm, i thought of redirecting that Windows 7 hype to Linux Mint and came up with this flyer concept (only the front page is done, the back page will be green and have some info about mint ). A total of 4 flyers can be printed on a A4 paper at 300dpi. I wanted the 4 flyers to fit perfectly, but seems i miscalculated a bit and a small part needs to be cut out :(. I'm eager to know what do you guys think about this concept, here's the preview

I also attached a single flyer (1240x1704)...

...and 4 flyers ready to be printed on a A4 page(2480x3508) :).

A gif animated Linux Mint 3D logo, it might be useful (for some cool animated banners  ). I wanted to make this in flash but failed miserably , png version is also attached below

Made a deviantART stamp for those of us that are subscribers to use.

I may be making a PLZ account for this stamp as well, so that non-subscribers can use it as well.

@DPMorris: I love that! I'm definitely making a background out of that now, if you don't mind. ^-^

Found this post with a sort-of promotional material. The claim may not be necessarily true but interesting nonetheless.

Now that person's got the idea! With a little spit & polish, that ad could easily feature in print media, IMO. That blogger has a keen eye for advertising / getting a message across clearly. Some lessons to take note of, I reckon....

Not really sure why I even tried doing this, I'm not exactly any good with the GIMP
But I thought I'd have a go at creating a scratch bit of art work

I know it's not up to standard, but maybe someone would be able to make it better? :D

@ ikey

Thats a great picture! I like your idea. I think that you did a great job. Would you mind if I make a few experimental mods to it then repost it here for you to work with some more??? :?:

Thanx Ikey. I'll send you a pm when I have something uploaded for you to see. Then you can decide whether or not to post it at the forum or not ok.

Ive already done some work on it with the idea that first crossed my mind when I saw that image.

P.S. Your IRC software should be really good I think from what I saw. Im not a big user of IRC, but I would be happy to help in testing if you need it ok.

as I have been wanting a Linux Mint branded USB memory stick for ages.
I think also we should get Mint branded T-shirts etc. It's amazing how that kind of things bound you to community and motivate to contribute. A part of the price could go to Mint maintenace costs. I really want my Mint T-shirt for summer!

Everything that could be possible stuff to sale should be added to Mint Official store under Services. There were some people who designed stickers, it would be nice if they could be available to everyone.

A MINT/LXDE sticker would be nice also.
