I am running:
MInt 8 main edition
Windows 7 Hope Premium
On:
Asus K60 Laptop
4GB RAM
2.2 GHz core 2 duo
I hope that helps.
My problem is this: I have ok sound and wireless connectivity when I use win7, but when I use Mint 8 bad stuff happens. My sound output is much lower and my wireless connectivity is worse. I can easily get 4/5 to 5/5 bars in windows, but only 2/5 in mint. My connection also unexpectedly drops for some reason. I think that I need to install new drivers for the sound card and wireless. I'm looking up my hardware right now to give some more info.
My question: How do I make Linux Mint as loud and connected as windows?
