Post by nelamvr6 »

OK guys, time to get over to Cafe Press, or somewhere, and start selling Linux Mint T Shirts!

Tat would be a great idea, when Clem returns from his vacation, we'll see about going forward with that.

After having found a producer in North Africa, I sent last week the official logos of Mint to him and am waiting for his proposition (look and price).
I would be interested to know after that how big the motivation of the community is to buy them, to proceed to a global order.
The problem is summer holidays in August. I am afraid we have to be a little bit more patient

How good are those ink jet T-shirt transfer papers (until we can get real ones)?

CafePress will also do a custom logo shirt with a graphic uploaded from your computer. The custom golf shirt is $16.99 and is good quality. I have one with a generic Linux logo.

Actually those transfers are pretty good. I've used them for a couple of small t-shirts. But the can peel off after awhile, so depending on how they are washed longevity can be an issue.

all that is perfect, but i think that a consequent part has to go for our distro. We all have a great ambition for Mint.
I try to find a nice and quality product where the benefit help the community and the development.
So I think it is not bad to be a little bit patient
