I'm not sure if any of the Firefox add-ons are capable of resuming a broken download using another link. But any download manager should be able to resume broken downloads from the same link.

I mean, are there similiar software like orbit downloader(Windows) that run under Linux? In orbit downloader can resume broken link by change new link manually, if the previous link has been expired.
