{Solved} I upgraded from Mint 8 to 9 yesterday. Things went well, except when I minimize windows they do not appear in the panel/bar at bottom of desktop. They disappear and I can't figure out how to maximize open windows/apps. Also similar, when I started Skype in Mint 8, the Skype icon appeared on bar. No longer. It's currently running, but I can't find it and when I try to start Skype it says an instance is already running.
Any ideas how to deal with this?
I found the "window list" panel item that I added to the panel. Did the job.
