No image for a live stream

Post by Higashifukai »

Hi,

Only one problem here with LinuxMint 3.0. With other distributions I had no problem with the following stream (live TV from Canada), but with Mint I get only the sound (black screen).

http://ms.radio-canada.ca/rdi?MSWMExt=.asf

(The live streaming is not always available though, because copyrights apply to certain programs.)

Can someone tell me if he can get the image with Mint? ((I tried with Movie Pplayer and Kmplayer... they work perfectly for the other streams that I tried.)

Thanks, I just installed the plugin but here I'm talking about playing a certain live stream (Radio-Canada live) with kmplayer or Movie Player. For some reason I get no video (but the sound is great :D ), and I never got that problem with other distributions (including Ubuntu). I'm on Cassandra (and Gnome).
