Suspend
Not a problem for a change, just a question out of curiosity. I could never get suspend to work on Mint 8 or 9, but it works perfectly on LMDE. Anyone know why this would be?

Mint Cinnamon 20.1
Re: Suspend
greatly influences the type of hardware, for example:
in a gateway pc SX2000 with mint 9 kde does not work the suspension and on my pc that I myself armed with an asus mobo if it works.
¿apic rules? maybe.

Re: Suspend
Maybe LMDE likes HP even better than Mint 9 did. Just gotta love something that works this great and is free!

yessss , if you look at my signature, also seems to me that mint-debian is the best that Clem got, a great exit.Maybe LMDE likes HP even better than Mint 9 did
Re: Suspend
Suspend depends on a lot of variables, hardware, firmware, bios, and software.
Suspend and Hibernate both have worked on this laptop (see signature) with no glitches for LM Felicia, Gloria, Isadora and LMDE.
But my 7 y/o emachines desktop has problems, but then it had problems in WinXP.
