Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini Card

Post by dfrantom »

Just installed Mint KDE 9.0 on my Dell Vostro 1500 with the Dell 1390 Wireless card. It looks like it's working but when I scan for wireless networks (mine), it cannot find them. I'm a newbie to linux so be gentle.

The first and obvious thing to check is whether the wireless toggle/switch is on, the second is whether networking and wireless is enabled by right mousing the network tray icon.
