Hi all
I am running a Linux mint 9 on my 8 GB USB drive (Live installation). I am very happy with that, but one problem cause a problem: the installation eat my space, and I don't know where it is!? First, after a clean installation there was at least 4 GB space free, but know there is only about 200 MB. I have not installing very much, I have clean the cache (in browser), all folders is empty, I have use fslint and so on, where is my space?
Regards

Re: Where is my space?
Updates are still into cache. You can clean the cache via terminal.
df -h
sudo apt-get clean
df -h
df -h
sudo apt-get clean
df -h
Re: Where is my space?
Thanks !!
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on

Now I have 780MB free (better than 200MB). But I think there must be much more space?

Re: Where is my space?
8 gb? It is very fair for a modern Linux system, will soon have stability problems.
why moving to a lighter distro?.

Re: Where is my space?
It's works fantastic - and I need all the stuff (when I am out)! But I think of installing Mint on my Mac (if is possible).
