Posting Question
Hi All.
New poster here....
Is there anywhere I can read up on how to add a scrolling attachment to a post? I'm going to have to ask a hardware question and attach my update manager history. And now that I am here, what are the the quote, code, list, list= , etc..buttons for, how are they used?
Thanks,
Chistie

OK. Right above this is what the quote button does. Code is if you want to demonstrate a Terminal command:Cjpc wrote:Hi All.

Re: Posting Question
Hey thanks tdockery97! I appreciate it.
Ok, so now i really feel like a newb! I just realized where I posted this! It should have been under the "How to" thread maybe? LOL
Alright, to keep with the thread... switched to Ubuntu Netbook Edition from XP just about a month ago, didn't like that version of Linux at all. Did some research and found Mint 9 KDE and I am loving it!
I have had a few issues, solved a few problems myself, thanks to this forum (THANKS!!!!!) and now need to ask something that I haven't been able to figure out. Have searched and searched, wrapped my head around the problem for the last week and a half, to no avail. (gee, I think I found the reason for posting in the wrong place...too much forum and google!)
I am loving being able to manipulate the code to resolve issues, and appreciate the community and this forum for support. I just need a little help so I can get across my dilemma correctly and as "non-newbie" as possible LOL
Take care, and thanks again!
Christie
