Hi all just got Lm up and running yesterday. It took a little while because I use a wireless usb stick to gain internet acess.
So far I am liking it very well. I hope that you can be patient with me I am a total noob on linux so, I hope that I don't ask too many stupid questions. I have been a windows user since Dos3.1 and finally got tired installing and reinstalling.

Re: Hello from Southern Illinois
Welcome BareMan! I'm sure you will enjoy your time with Mint and the forum is a great place to learn, ask and help.
I grew up in Central Illinois and it looks like the weather out there is a bit nasty right now. I don't miss all the snows we used to get, but Maryland got more snow than I have ever seen in my life in a single season last year so no place is safe.
Enjoy!
