Thank you very much for the X'mas present for 2010.
Here is my data on installation to a intel i3 64-bit desktop:
1. After key in those information on location, partition, name, password etc,
the time taken to copy files for installation plus grub loader installation is approximately 7.5-8 minutes.
This got to be one of the fastest installation I experienced.
2. Reboot, time taken to reach login page : approximately 25 seconds,
after key in logic password and hit return, continue to time , at the point when LMDE is ready for Menu>> browser is approximately
35-37 seconds..
