Mint t-shirts/gear

Post by troyj »

I have been reading the various posts about promoting Linux Mint and there are several threads with people who are interested in Mint shirts, hats, etc.. The only thing is that there does not seem to be a real "Mint Store" like Ubuntu or some of the other distros have.

A few links point to sites where you can create your own hats, shirts, etc. and one link was for a place in Germany that could only roughly be translated into English (with Google translating). I am guessing that International shipping is probably quite expensive as well.

I decided to check out some of the links and thought I would give Queensboro a try (http://www.queensboro.com).

Their pricing seems very reasonable and they only require a minimum order of four items (instead of 48, 144, etc.).
I used the Mint logo from this link (http://linuxmint-art.org/content/show.p ... tent=82193) and sent it to Queensboro at 300 DPI. I also sent an email about the logo requirements and a person named Kyle responded very promptly. :-)

So, an order is placed for three t-shirts and one polo shirt with the Mint logo.

I will follow up with some comments on this post once the order progresses and once I receive the shirts, I will post some feedback here as well. I could also supply some photos, if anyone would be interested.

Cool. Keep us posted. You may end up with a new career as the Mint goodies supplier.
