I have Dropbox v1.0.10 and nautilus-dropbox v0.6.7-lmde installed in LMDE. I wish to change the gray like tray icon set from the default set in the Mint X-Dark theme to the colorful set included in Dropbox. I have tried replacing the icons in the home directory with no success. Is there any way to change them that I have overlooked?
Thanks.

Re: Trouble Changing Dropbox Tray Icon Set LMDE
You will need to put the following images (you can get them in /usr/share/icons/...)
dropboxstatus-busy.png
dropboxstatus-busy2.png
dropboxstatus-idle.png
dropboxstatus-logo.png
dropboxstatus-x.png
inside of the following folders
~/.icons/Mint-X/status/16
&
~/.icons/Mint-X/status/24
.icons is a hidden folder so you will need to check to view hidden files.

You will also notice that the .icons folder isn't there...but that is because you have to create it.
So you will need to create all of those folders
.icons
--Mint-X
----status
------16
------24
Quit Dropbox and then restart it and the new icons will be used...of course if you use a different theme then you need to make a folder for that theme.
