But don't forget that Mint started as a fork of Ubuntu and wouldn't be here if not for Ubuntu... :D

Just figured Id point out theres another happy LMDE user here. Been almost exclusively on Debian Stable. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. I think this may be my choice OS for a desktop!
