Hey there, I'm Amy. I'm from the Canadian province of New Brunswick.
I started looking for new distributions of Linux to try and the name Linux Mint keeps coming into my mind. I've heard about it from a handful of the people I talk to, so I figured that I might as well try it out for myself.
I'll be downloading and installing Linux Mint 10 GNOME (64-Bit). I was thinking about KDE, but I've settled for something I'm a bit more familiar with.
Until then!
hey!

Re: hey!
Hi Amy,
I think you will like Mint. Remember, we are always here if you run into problems. You may have to wait a few hours until the right person reads your post, especially if you have a problem with some less often used application, but we try to help everyone who needs it.
There is also a Mint chat line accessible by clicking the Xchat IRC icon in the menu under Internet if you need immediate help.
And, last but not least, the Mint Community Website is our version of a Wiki. Lots of good stuff.
