banshee and android devices

Post by giorsat »

Hi. strange problem. it seems that android phones are recognized in nautilus but banshee doesn't see them (the ubuntu version does). even with the experimental package of banshee (1.91) the problem is still there. maybe some dependency to install or some permission to set? anyone with the same problem?

I have a G2 Android and Banshee also. I'll see how mine works and post back if I get a chance.

SOLVED!!
I disabled hal service and started udev service in lmde
than I added this file called .is_audio_player to the root directory of my device

this inside

audio_folders=music/
folder_depth=2
output_formats=audio/mpeg,audio/mp3,audio/x-aac,audio/ogg,audio/aac

rebooted and now banshee works perfectly with my device
