Hi everyone! I'm new to Linux. But knowing I was going to get a new desktop and having decided to to get away from Windows I have been researching for the past month. I finally decided Linux Mint Debian was what I wanted after trying live versions of 6 different flavors.
I started reading the threads and when my new computer arrived last week all I to do was insert the disk and set it up. I bought it with NO OS so it was relatively easy with all the help the forum provided. Many thanks to all of you who participate and especially to all who contribute to the welath of information found here.
It's good to know such a place as this exists. It gives a complete nOOb the confidence and the asssurance needed to know he will have a successful experience.
Much Appreciation,
~JonBouye
PS.This is truly an adventure in learning. I love it.
