How funny! I've got the day off from work, and although it's early and I guess you aren't supposed to do this, I'm enjoying a cold one right now as I browse the Linux forums!

Beer: Carta Blanca, from Mexico.

Location: Northeast Heights, Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.

I haven't had alcohol since 2006 and 1993 before that.

When I was still in school we had a contract with Budweiser to set up a medical records system for all of their teams. When one of the teams was at the campus our chief equine surgeon and the team manager took went to a local country western dance bar/restaurant. They went to the bar, banged down a 2 gallon bucket ordered beer to fill it up and then another of the teams handlers brought in one of the horses. These animals are over 6'5" (196 cm) at the withers (shoulders) and weight over 2200 lbs (1000 kg.)

Quite a sight.

When I lived in Delaware, it was a six-pack of Stroh's, and I was in heaven. Now that I live in Arizona, I can't get it here, so "when in rome, do as romans do"... it all Coronas now.

on the other hand, My Dad makes a very good stout in his wood shop. He puts a picture of a snarling Doberman Pincher on the label... Calls it "Cranky B**ch beer". :D

this will mean nothing to you light beer/lager drinkers but i am a traditional real ale man, i walk out of pubs if they only sell top pressure beer, some of my favourites.. Olde speckled hen, directors, spinnaker, white witch, tango-foot , but i do enjoy trying brews from some of the myriad of micro breweries we now have in the UK, [im also partial to the odd spirit any peaty single malt, or Metaxa 7[Greek], five kings[Cyprus] zavinia [Cyprus] or even the odd po-chine

Has anyone, other than me, tried HP beer?

And I do not mean Hewlett-Packard.
