Hello from a new Mint user

Just dropping in to say hello. I've been using Ubuntu for years...yadda yadda. I don't like their direction anymore.

Let's just say I dropped Ubuntu and I've been really enjoying running LMDE for the last month or so. It is a wonderful distribution. I would like to thank everyone who helped make it possible. Fluxbox edition has also been excellent. I've been using Linux for years and I'd thought I would never be able to replace Ubuntu. Boy was I wrong.

Welcome, I see you like both Mint's Debian edition, and the Fluxbox edition . . . stay tuned, as the next Mint Fluxbox will be based on Debian, and Ikey has joined Kendall on this project . . . you'll find a little info and some screeny teasers in this thread : http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 84#p383469

LMDE is a nice distro, isn't it? I'm glad you enjoy it and the Fluxbox edition.
