Hi all,
due to hardware compatiblity issues (i have an Asus A52J laptop) the last edition of LMDE of december 2010 couldn't install it on my laptop. My question then is if I can install debian and then the mint packages, and if there is a chance to go well doing that
All technical notes would be good received.
Thanks.

In case you are interested in using Linux Mint with Debian Squeeze (stable) please read my tutorial here http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/378
Debian Squeeze is very well tested and for that reason is stable.
