Ive been getting the broken lock myself I did the above and got this in my latest log...
* Launching mintUpdate in root mode
starting refresh
auto-refresh timer is going to sleep for 5 minutes
performing apt-get update
Exception occured in the refresh thread: Failed to fetch cdrom:[APTonCD for ubuntu feisty - i386 (2007-10-09 01:08) DVD1]/Packages.gz Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT. apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs
It seems to be looking for apt on cd. Can I make it stop?
