mint Wifi

Postby dinsdale on Thu Aug 16, 2007 1:39 pm

I tried to uninstall ndis and mintWifi and reinstall them but when I went o to reinstall ndis wrapper installed but I can't find mintWifi in the repositories. I tried sudo apt-get install mintwifi also and it's saying:

sudo apt-get install mintwifi
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package mintwifi is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package mintwifi has no installation candidate

Confused.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

You shouldn't need to uninstall mintWifi.
Here is the package to reinstall.

In Celena, mintWifi is loosing its documentation. In Mint 4.0 it will become a gtk GUI application.
