I was a Red Hat user for many years. I've also been away from Linux for many years (10+ years).
Back when i was using Red Hat, I had a webpage with scripts so people could get their dialup modem working with Linux. One day I was contacted by U.S. Robotics (they were later bought by 3Com) and was told they wanted to use some of my scripts, which made me pretty happy.
I just started getting back into Linux. I bought a small mini-PC to use as a home theater box and was testing out the latest versions of Linux. I also bought an Asus Laptop without an OS. First i installed Fedora on it, but now I have LinuxMint on both my Laptop and my main box.
