Can anyone help with the sponsor form?

I'd like to pay from my debit card but the form still requires PayPal details. Am I missing something?

To my knowledge you must have a pal pal account. I have looked and I see no other way.

Signed up via PP, but maybe if anyone from the team stops by here they could let us know if it is possible to pay by other means.

The form shows bank details but the pay by PP still seems to have to be checked.

On the first form you will see this button:

"Don't have a PayPal account?
Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue"
This then brings you to a second form where you can enter your Bank details. This should be enough.
I myself have not used it as I do use paypal, but it should work.

I still can't see it, I'm looking here https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
As I said it's not a problem as I just used my paypal (despite preferring to use bank). It may prevent other people from sponsoring though.

Fandangio,
I just had a look and was taken to a different page than you appear to have been taken to.
Starting here http://www.linuxmint.com/donors.php
I tried out both the donate in Euros option and the donate in US Dollars option.
PayPal is the main method offered - but it seems if you enter an amount in there you can then select from the options lower down on the left side of the page under "Don't have a PayPal account" it looks like "continue" needs to be clicked - I stopped the experiment at this point, looked like it was about to get costly if I went any further with it
Hope that helps

Thanks Oscar, as I said I went the PayPal route in the end (and I sponsored rather than donated which is where the difference may be).
I felt it better to contribute regularly rather than make ad hoc payments (as I'm likely to forget) :D
