Running ATI Catalyst Control Center as root?
I followed instructions from the Debian Wiki for loading the ATI/AMD proprietary driver. The control center is in the menu but doesn't open as root (Mint 9 had both root & non-root items in the menu). How do I change the command line in the menu item to run it as root?

Mine is set up as:
Which works fine here. If that fails you could try:
Code: Select all
amdxdg-su -c amdcccle
Code: Select all
gksudo amdcccle
Kernel Linux Tex 5.12.14-zen1-1-zen, XFCE
Arch
Dual GTX1070 8Gb
AMD Ryzen 1800X

Thanks, that second one did it. Just asks me for my password, then I'm in.
