Hello,
It happens from time to time - OS becomes slow and unresponsible; HDD high activity.
When I switch to tty1 and run iotop, kswap and many others are at 99%.
Accidentally I've found out, that system goes back to normal when I kill Opera's operapluginwrapper - libflashplayer.so
Today, I've found another person with the same problem:

Anybody else having the same?
I've disabled plugins in opera (just on demand) until it's solved.
EDIT:
32-bit, 2GB RAM, TP R400 http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:R400
opera Version 11.01 Build 1190

Re: Opera - operapluginwrapper - insane HDD activity (swappi
We are missing context, such as Opera version being used, whether the OS is 64boit or 32bit and so on..

I use Opera and haven't had any problems, then again I generally avoid flash only or heavy flash mode sites..
- hardware resources, especially RAM (memory) sizing

That one talks about CPU usage - this is not the case. The problem is, that Opera (the wrapper) consumes more and more memory over time. The same like here: http://kuc.cz/izp3kqDrHu wrote: Not completely resolved, however some progress..
