Hello everyone. I'm Dave and I've been using Linux for about a year and a half. I've been switching distros a lot (Ubuntu -> Fedora -> Ubuntu -> CrunchBang -> Ubuntu -> Linux Mint) but I think I want to give a rolling release a good chance and LMDE is very enticing (even though I'm having network issues atm).
Anyway, I'm a student (last year of secondary school) and next year I'm planning on going to Sheffield University to study Physics (just have to get those grades now) so I'm currently studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry (I'd have love to have done Further Maths but my school doesn't offer it). In my spare time I enjoy building computers for various family members and myself then trying to avoid the tech support when they break the glorious computers I build. I've played the guitar for about 8 years now so I'd say I'm pretty good (about 5 years of classical training but I didn't enjoy the music). I love my PC gaming which does mean I have to use the dreaded windows and it pains me (however Minecraft on linux is the way forward). I've recently started getting into comic books starting with The Walking Dead and Thor from the Straczynski run.
I think that's enough about me for now, any questions feel free to ask.

Re: Hello Everyone
One thing I've noticed about the Mint forums is that they have a very nice aesthetic to them.
