New kid? Not so much...

Post by manyroads »

Just thought I'd say thank you to the folks at Mint for the Distro.

I am a longtime Ubuntu user (?) since 2006 and an even longer time Geek working with software since 1974 (whoa... old guy ). The main reason I have come over to the green side for a test run is Unity and Gnome 3; I want to see how you guys are dealing with those  interfaces. Hopefully you will evolve something that does not cause us all to loose massive amounts of keyboard & mouse advance functions for the sake of eye candy.

Welcome to the forum! You are just one of many who I think will be migrating to Mint over the next few months over similar concerns.
